All About Me!

Hello! I’m Jessica Bartelt, and I’ve been proudly running Bartelt Breeders for nearly 10 years. My family and I are passionate about raising, training, and breeding puppies with the utmost care and dedication. We are deeply committed to ethical and responsible breeding practices. Here’s a bit about our puppies and process:    •   Health and Registration: All of our puppies are registered, dewormed, vaccinated (first shots administered by a licensed vet), and microchipped.    •   Parent Health Testing: Each puppy’s parents are thoroughly health and DNA tested through Embark and certified through OFA.    •   Puppy Size and Availability: We currently have both male and female puppies available. Our puppies are expected to stay small, with mom being a 5lb longhair and dad a 4lb shorthair.    •   Adoption Fee: Fees vary based on the puppy’s sex, temperament, and coat length/pattern. Please note that full registration rights are available for an additional fee. By the time your puppy is ready to come home, they’ll have started both puppy pad and kennel training. They’ll also arrive with:    •   All vet paperwork, microchip details, and health records.    •   An information packet, along with a small food pack, pee pad, scent blanket, and a few special goodies to ensure they feel safe and comfortable on their journey home. I always encourage potential adopters to schedule a meet-and-greet, either in person or via video call, to get a sense of our puppies and breeding environment. We’re located in Central Arkansas and can offer meet-up or delivery options, with transportation costs covered by the adopter.
