Bartelt Breeders began breeding Chihuahuas out of a lifelong love for animals and a deep passion for caring for them. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals and learned so much from my mother, who was a dedicated dog breeder. Watching her care for her dogs and seeing the joy they brought to families inspired me. It was during those formative years that I gained invaluable knowledge about breeding, training, and providing the best care for dogs. Over the years, my love for animals grew into a calling. I now run my own rescue and rehabilitation program for both farm and wild animals, helping creatures in need to recover and find safety. Additionally, I foster animals through the Pulaski County Humane Society, giving them a loving temporary home while they wait for adoption. My involvement in community events allows me to connect with others who share my passion for animals and to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Breeding Chihuahuas has become another way for me to share the joy that animals have brought into my life, ensuring these wonderful dogs bring happiness to loving homes.
All my puppies are peepad and kennel trained before even going home!
