All About Me!

We are Rick and Brenda Silva behind Harley Goldens. Our dogs, Frida and Skipper, have enriched our lives in ways we never imagined, and we are so happy to be able to share the wonderful qualities of the breed with others. Owning a golden retriever is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. We strive to place our puppies in homes where they will live as inside dogs. Our puppies are part of our family -raised inside our home with lots of 24 hr attention. We socialize them to help prepare them for their new home. Additionally, both parent dogs live in the same home as the puppies, guaranteeing a caring environment and the highest standards of health. Puppies are also being raised around our 2 cats. Our sire, Skipper, and dam, Frida are AKC registered. And, are clear for breed specific diseases via Embark DNA genetic testing. Frida weighs 65 lbs. Skipper weighs 85 lbs. These little babies are getting lots of love and snuggles so they will bond quickly with their new family! We are committed to producing healthy, happy Retriever puppies, and we do everything we can to prepare them for their forever families. Our goal is to ensure that every puppy that goes to their forever home is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. Each puppy receives a thorough examination by a licensed veterinarian, will be up-to-date on their shots and have routine deworming. We will provide you with the AKC Reunite microchip kit to be placed by your veterinarian when your puppy is older. The microchip includes a Pre-paid AKC Reunite Lifetime Enrollment for their safety and your peace of mind. Puppies will go home with a Puppy starter kit: blanket and plush toy with mom and siblings’ scent, puppy food for transition to new food. You will be provided with Bill of Sale, vet records, AKC registration application for limited (companion-no breeding rights) or full AKC registration, information for training and keeping puppy safe, and a 2-year Health Guarantee.
