Rudy is a cute little 2nd generation (F1b) cockapoo that was born on Feb. 4th and is ready to go to his new home at any time. He comes from a 15 lb cockapoo mom and a 17 1/2 lb poodle dad. Neither has had any health problems. He comes with a one year written health guarantee, lots of written puppy tips, and has had his first series of puppy vaccines and has been given dewormer on a regular basis. I am taking a deposit of half his price plus tax to hold him until you are ready to come take him home. All of our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are our pets. I sell my puppies to people intending to add a loving new family member to their household and who will integrate them into their families and homes. I will not sell him to anyone who plans to make him live outside in a barn, shed, kennel or dog box, so please make sure that having a new indoor pet to love and house train is what you really want. I live on the east side of Butler, Ohio 44822 – about an hour north of Columbus and less than two hours south-west of Cleveland. I would love for you to set up a time with me to have a Zoom or FaceTime appt. with the puppies to see them, or you are welcome to come and visit with my babies in person and see how adorable they really are! Cockapoos, the Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix, are among the first Designer Pups to have been purposely bred, dating back to the 1950's. These pups are friendly, endearing, playful, and sweet-natured. They are happy, social and are very good with children and the elderly. Cockapoos have a low to medium energy level and are easy-going, playful and love lots of lap and snuggle time. They are extremely intelligent and easy to train. Their coats are low to no shedding – even more so with the 2nd generations. Smaller Cockapoos are well suited for more confined dwellings such as apartments. The Cockapoo should be brushed regularly to be kept free from matting and should be groomed every 12 to 16 weeks, depending on the look that you like.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Cockapoo Puppies
Is a Cockapoo the right dog for me?
Cockapoos get their loving personalities from their Cocker Spaniel and Poodle parents. No matter how old they get, they always have a puppy's charm. Cockapoos are gentle, family-friendly dogs that vie for your love and attention. They don’t just want companionship, they need it! Full-grown, they typically weigh 12-24 pounds and stand 10-15 inches tall.
Are Cockapoos friendly with strangers and kids?
Cockapoos are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. Cockapoos' kind disposition make them a wonderful family pet. These dogs are gentle and loving with children and enjoy having company, whether it’s another dog, cat, or other animal. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What activities do Cockapoos enjoy most?
Cockapoos have low exercise needs. They’ll be happy with a small yard where they can run freely and take the occasional walk. Above all else, these dogs want companionship, so whatever activity you choose for them, make sure they have a playmate to keep them company and share in the fun. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Are Cockapoos high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Cockapoo has a coat that combines aspects of the Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. Their fur can be curly, flat, or anywhere in between. Cockapoos come in a wide variety of colors, such as white, cream, tan, or a mix. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Cockapoos are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Where do Cockapoos do best — city or country?
Cockapoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Cockapoos are the perfect size for apartments, but no matter what kind of home you live in, make sure you have enough time to devote to them and keep them as indoor dogs. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
