About our place

We are a small time hobby breeder raising our favorite dogs, shollies and maltipoos. We live in the quaint little town of Rockland in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in a large Victorian house completely surrounded by a growing garden full of rusty vintage treasures. Our 3 kids and 6 dogs keep this place lively. Our border collie/shollies are wonderful companions; smart, energetic, and love going on adventures and keeping an eye on our goats, sheep, chickens, and rabbits, or laying at home in the office while we work from home. Our maltipoos have an identity crisis and think they are collies, too, out there with the big dogs chasing goats and chickens and keeping us all safe from the 4 wheelers and trucks going past the house, and the occasional leaf that blows past the picture window. But as long as you're not a leaf or a 4 wheeler, they are extremely friendly and cuddly.
