About our place

Hello, this is Joe McCall. My husband and our 3 boys and Laura Gregory make up Modern Family Standards. We are tucked away on 8.5 acres in Effingham, SC while Laura lives in the great state of Virginia. She and I met years ago at a dog show and have been friends ever since. She comes from hounds (Blue Ticks and Treeing Walkers). The Dachshund is our love breed together. She grew up in and around dog shows. She grooms, boards, whelps litters and handles. She is a true Laura of all trades. Laura and I work together on our breeding program and between the 2 of us get it done. We prefer to have you pick up your pup or we are available for grown or flight nanny services. We pride ourselves on structure, temperment and overall quality of our pups with full disclosures.
