About our place

We breed and raise AKC FSS Certified Teddy Roosevelt Terriers and AKC Registered Great Pyrenees. The Lance Family has 4 generations of experience working with dogs from field trials and obedience training to boarding and breeding. Our breeding dogs have been certified in all recommended tests for their respective breeds suggested by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals Inc.). We also perform testing for Degenerative Myelopathy. Our breeding females undergo additional testing for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia to ensure they are capable of safely carrying a litter. Our puppies come with a Health Guarantee outlined in our contract. Although we acknowledge the altering of puppies approved by the AKC and UKC breed standards, we do not alter our dogs in any way. We do not dock the tails of our puppies and we do not remove dewclaws. Unless there is an immediate health risk to our puppies, we will make no exceptions in this decision. We microchip all our puppies. We believe this is in the best interest of our puppies and your family. We do not want puppies of our creation to end up in a shelter or rescue or separated from their new homes. The cost of the microchip and a lifetime enrollment in AKC Reunite is already included in the purchase price. Our Teddy Roosevelt Terrier puppies are sold with a “Limited” Foundation Stock Service Certificate from the AKC (American Kennel Club). Our Great Pyrenees puppies are sold with "Limited" AKC Registration. If you would like to add a “Full” registration for either breed, additional charges will be added to the final purchase price.
