Greetings from Pooch La Hooch! Our goal is to raise beautiful, well tempered, healthy puppies from happy, well cared for adults. We breed full blooded Cavaliers, Chihuahuas and Japanese Chin. We also breed designer dogs, which creates “hybrid vigor”. This is what happens when two most likely “overbred” breeds meet. Fresh DNA from a whole new gene pool makes for a healthier dog. Past pairings have been Chi Chi’s (Chi/ Crested) Chorkies (Yorkie/Chi) Schinauhua (Schnauzer/Chi) Yins (Yorkie/Chin) and Chavalier’s (Cavalier/Chin). They are paired with a mate…which means we are creating LLLLL❤️VE puppies!! They have plenty of bones, toys and pals to play with and in nice weather they are outside so they can run and tumble in a large pen. In spring, summer and fall they get bathed and groomed every other week with teeth brushed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. In winter we do it monthly. We use, among other things, non-toxic food grade diatomaceous earth for parasite control. Our dogs are our kids and are treated like gold. My vet will tell you...I bring them to her at the drop of a hat! They are spoiled with regular treats and vitamins. They get Primo purified water from the plant and fresh vegetable treats, meat and lots of eggs. When I home cook a meal I Give them the 10 best herbs for dogs; Basil, Chamomile, Dandelion, Dill, Horsetail, Oregano, Sage, Parsley, Thyme and Turmeric.
