We also breed, Yorkshire terriers, Bichon Frise, Mini Schnauzer, Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu, Mini Goldendoodle, and Puggle, and we do the Teddy Bear designer breeds., We have been raising puppies for 24 years. We love all animals, but there is just something special about a puppy. We have 4 beautiful grandchildren who share the great joy of raising & loving these precious puppies at our home. State law requires sales tax to be paid on each puppy sold inside the state of GA. We sell our puppies for the same price, or lower, than other breeders with the tax already included in the price. If you are looking at a puppy from a breeder who does not charge you sales tax, or state the tax is included in the price you pay, they are operating illegally within the State of GA. Rule 560-12-2-.55 The tax does not apply to charges for the keep of pets. Operators of kennels, stables and pet shops are required to pay the tax on purchases of tangible personal property used in such operations. SALES OF HORSES, DOGS, ANIMALS, GOLDFISH AND OTHER PETS ARE SUBJECT TO THE TAX, unless purchased for resale or otherwise exempt. Ask for proof about the sales tax, this will help avoid scammers.
