Small in home breeder of miniature dachshunds. All babys are pre spoiled and loved on daily. None of my kiddos are crated nor are the puppies. Everyone always has plenty of space to roam and have freedom. Puppies are always kept in an enclosed play area where they have plenty of room to play, explore, sleep and potty in their litter pans. I prefer to use alfalfa pallets to potty train versus potty pads and it’s because I have had many of pad trained new comers that really didn’t know the difference between a potty pad and a rug, door mat, dog bed ect.. because they all had a soft surface and just didn’t know any better so training them with alfalfa pellets has worked very well for the pups I have raised and I never have a problem with them going potty on things they should not. I like to introduce my pups to a few select vegetables and fruits when they are around 5/6 weeks old. If you start them early on with healthy snacks they will continue to like them throughout their lives. All my pups come up to date on vaccinations as well as regular deworming. They each get a Florida Health certificate at 8 weeks of age issued by my vet that declares them healthy. A fecal test is done on each one to be sure they are parasite free. After they leave for their forever homes you will have 3 more vaccinations needed up until they are 18 weeks old. You should not expose your pup to other animals that are not up to date on vaccinations and most importantly do not let their little feet touch any public ground outside or inside due to a highly contagious and deadly virus called parvovirus (parvo). If you don’t know much about parvo it’s best to do your due diligence on this virus for the well being of your new family member. It’s very important especially for pups ages 6 weeks up to 6 months. If interested in adopting your own little wiener dog, I ask that you submit an application. If approved I like to first speak to you over the phone for a more personal experience. After we have talked and you decide you would like to move forward I require a non refundable deposit of $300 to reserve the pup of your choice. This makes everything official and your pup will not be available for others to adopt any longer. The deposit does come off from the overall price of your baby. The remaining balance is due the day of pick up.
