About our place

We are blessed with 2 small ranches in the peace filled and lovely Elbert area. Because we can't be in 2 places at once, these guardians are our eyes and ears! Our Colorado Mountain Dogs are essential ranch hands! This is a breed that is not human aggressive, though they do alert when people are present that do not belong. These GUARDIANS do well and are aggressive toward predators of livestock. Amazingly, they are gentle with that which they guard. Whether it be as small as chickens or as big as cattle, they will do their job! They even like cats! We fell in love with these dogs after purchasing our own guardian dog for our cattle. CERTIFIED Colorado Mountain Dogs are a fairly new breed that consist of Great Pyrenes, Anatolian Shepherd, Kuvasz & Marrema breeds. The mix of ONLY these breeds, make them amazing guardians.
